Was introduced last weekend to a lovely spot in the SE of Burkina Faso. I have been near by before, but not to this 'resort'. It sits on a cliff of boulders (even got some bouldering in!!) at the edge of a lake. definitely one of the most scenic places i have been to. it had a very nice bar/restaurant, pool and a deck that sits out over the lake. the water level is currently low, so we were able to do a long ride around the lake on one of the days. we felt like we were biking around the Scottish highlands (except for the 110F weather). it was a bit surreal thinking were were in Burkina Faso, but a completely unique landscape. not really a good way to capture the landscape, but i do have some photos of the lodge. once again, we went with a large group of people that is what makes these trips even more memorable.
